When customers currently pay for a recurring event, for example a series of 10 yoga classes, they pay one time for the whole series.
They currently cannot join in and pay part way through after the series has begun.
It would be useful to allow people to book late and pay pro rata. For example, they join in on class #3 and pay 70% of the total.
Perhaps the organiser could cut off late bookings from, say, the 4th class so as long as classes 1-3 are still available, anyone can book 3-10, but someone trying to book classes 4-10 cannot book. It’s too late.
An option might also be to raise the price for late bookers: If someone books all 10 classes they pay 100%. If someone books from classes 3-10 they pay 90%.
It is very common for people to book late and I’ve had this conversation recently with several clients including a yoga teacher and kids holiday activity classes.
