We have had issues with recurring events in our Google Calendar (which has some exceptional dates) not importing correctly to ME Calendar. It keeps all the recurring dates instead of reading that there are some of those recurring dates that have been removed from the Google Calendar.
When I’ve tried to use the Exceptional Days feature in the event in the back end of our website in ME Calendar is warns me that because this event is imported from Google calendar any modifications I make will be overridden in the next import.
This means that instead of being able to use the recurring events feature in Google Calendar and have it be imported correctly to MEC. We have to add dates in manually in Google Calendar for the entire year (leaving out the dates when the event doesn’t happen) in order for it to show correctly in ME Calendar on our website.
As you can imagine… super time consuming and frustrating. We’d like for MEC to be able to read recurring events from Google Calendar imports and be able to correctly import and read the exceptional days too as a part of that recurring event too.
