When you decline a feature request, you should publicly explain why in a comment & notify the author of the idea by email, similar to how we’re notified for support tickets. I have one of the most popular feature requests made on this forum & you declined it & didn’t explain why. I was never notified, until I tried to find it to see if other people were upvoting it, & it was gone. In some cases these requests are critical to the functionality of our events & if you’re declining a feature request = telling us it’s never going to happen, we need to know.
